After a trauma I dedicated painting to a geometrical form I named a piano-body. It conceives two pianos standing back to back towards each other, as in ´rely on your inner self, and have faith in becoming a larger instrument. I painted thousands versions of this strict piano form every day for almost ten years, in a time of my life where I needed to rest in my studio.
The geometrical piano mandala is represented in Moderna Museet, Södertörn University, Royal Institute of Technology, SMHI to mention a few public art spaces in Sweden.
Individual´s spirituality are the creations of a social life. Hegel accepted them as metaphysical beings, but not in the way that theology, rationalism had imagined; they are moments or phases of the world spirit. Which has created them in its imminent development. Individualism falsifies the nature of social institutions, because it regards the accidental and indifferent to the moral and spiritual development of personality, as merely utilitarian aids invented to satisfy men´s irrational desires.
I moved out to the forest a year ago, focusing mainly on composing music. During work I sometimes see pictures out of the music/poems and make note sheets/eclectic drawings, photos or short-films out of it.
Nature fertilized in one. My work will be shown for public view as a part of an upcoming Duo exhibition with Mattias Fröberg 2026. Vinyl and cassette will be recorded with minimum tech alone in my cottage this year. Life is all about being present on earth unfolding itself to be the actual shape and organization of a world. Surrounded by beauty, be beautiful and have fun. In the moment.
